Unlike a temporary injectable, specialty fillers require an expert injector who is also a specialist injector with extensive knowledge of facial anatomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many doctors who are not facial plastic surgeons or specialist injectors tend to place fillers within the skin level. This approach limits the type of result one can get from injectable fillers. An in-depth understanding not only of general facial anatomy, but, more specifically, of surgical facial anatomy, is essential when using injectable fillers in volume-deficient areas such as the cheeks and temples due to the presence of important nerves and blood vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
