Answer:<\/strong> I typically perform the Whisper Lift\u2122 on 2 different types of patients. The first group is younger patients in their 50\u2019s who have never had surgery and show early sagging in the neck and jawline. The second group consists of older patients, in their 60\u2019s and 70\u2019s, who have previously had facelift surgery and just need a \u201ctuck-up\u201d in the neck and jowl areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Whisper Lift\u2122 is a uniquely innovative surgical procedure which addresses mild sagging along the jawline as well as mild to moderate loose neck skin, fat and vertical platysmal neck bands. The Whisper Lift\u2122 is performed under straight local anesthesia, without IV\u2019s, in one of my office surgical suites. There are no visible incisions and the downtime is minimal compared to a facelift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on your concerns, you may be a good candidate for the Whisper Lift\u2122. However, this final decision can only be made after a thorough consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hollowing in your cheeks cannot be treated with a Whisper Lift\u2122 or facelift surgery, both of which address sagging. Since cheek hollowing is due to volume loss, Bellafill, the 5-year filler, is the most popular treatment in my office for volume restoration. If you prefer a more short-lived injectable filler, Restylane Refyne or Juvederm are options that last a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
